Paul Kingston is a very experienced Healthcare CEO, having spent the last 20+ years in the sector. He has vast experience on both the operational and transactional sides and will lead an experienced senior management team in rolling out the Fund investment strategy and leading the operations of Aperee.
Paul is a Chartered Accountant and most recently was CEO of CareChoice Group, where he led its growth to become the 2nd largest company in the sector. He has also been involved in c.€150m of M&A over the last 5 years. Paul will bring his experience to bear in ensuring we identify the appropriate opportunities (existing and new builds) and will lead the team to ensure we deliver the highest possible care standards to the residents we will be looking after.
Alf Smiddy is Aperee’s Board Chairperson. He has extensive experience in Non-Executive and Executive Chairperson and Director roles, and also working in leadership positions in a multi-national hospitality and consumer goods business environment across many continents.
Since 2008 Alf has been working as Chairman, Director, Business Advisor and Consultant for organisations across a range of sectors (private and public sectors) including Hotel & Hospitality, Financial Services, Marketing & Digital Technology, Retail, Research & Education, Agriculture & Food, Engineering and Local Government.
Chief Financial Officer
Hazel brings over a decade of experience and a wealth of knowledge in the residential care sector to Aperee, having worked in both the management and financial side. She was an integral part of the growth of a large residential care group in Ireland, and has taken the financial lead on a number of acquisitions and disposals in the sector, being involved in over €150m in transactions.
Hazel has a degree in Applied Psychology, a HDip in Business and Financial Information Systems and is a Chartered Accountant and an Associate of the Irish Tax Institute.”
